Best OPPO phones Singapore: Which one's right for you?

Last updated

There's an OPPO phone for every budget in Singapore. The OPPO Find X range is the priciest of the bunch, alongside the OPPO Find N foldable phones. For mid-tier options, consider the OPPO Reno or K Series. And for the cheapest OPPO phones, check out the K Series and A Series ranges.

Whatever your price range is for an OPPO phone, we've gone over the specs and features to pick the best ones for $1,000+, under $1,000, or much cheaper.

Best OPPO phone in Singapore overall: OPPO Find X9 Pro

  • Display: 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED (120Hz)
  • Chip: 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Storage: 512GB
  • Cameras: 1x 200MP, 2x 50MP rear, 50MP front
  • Battery: 7500mAh, 80W fast charge
  • Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0
  • Operating system: ColorOS 16.0

While OPPO flagship phones can stretch beyond $2,000 RRP, the OPPO Find X9 Pro isn't quite as expensive but still has great specs and features. You can expect responsive performance thanks to a powerful processor and 16GB of memory. Everything should look great on the generously sized AMOLED screen, which has a crisp 1272x2772 resolution, reflections-deterring brightness, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

As you'd hope, this flagship OPPO phone has a top-tier eight-core processor, built to handle whatever you do on your mobile, including high-end gaming. The Find X9 Pro also has practical AI inclusions for everyday use. Take advantage of up to 120x zoom with AI-assisted corrections, or use AI tools to enhance your photos.

The Find X9 Pro supports 5G connectivity, plus it has Wi-Fi 7 for a better network experience at home. OPPO hasn't ignored the practical side, either. The Find X9 Pro has IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, plus a durable display. You can also expect more than a day of battery life, and the Find X9 Pro supports 80W fast charging when you're low on juice.

If the OPPO Find X9 Pro sounds like the phone for you, pair it with a Singtel or M1 plan from our database.

  • Chip: 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 8450
  • Memory: 12GB

If you want to keep your new-phone budget around $1,000, consider the OPPO Reno15 Pro Max 5G. While cheaper than the Find X9 Pro, the Reno15 Pro Max still has flagship features, like AI tools to help with taking pictures, editing photos, and even gaming improvements. Even if you push the Reno15 Pro Max to its limits, it has adaptive thermal cooling to keep the phone cool.

Faster performance isn't just for gamers; it also benefits anyone looking for speedy app performance and responsive multitasking. Whatever you're doing on the Reno15 Pro Max, you can expect great on-screen results thanks to a bright FHD+ 6.78-inch display, which supports up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

The Reno15 Pro Max's camera is built with low-light photography in mind, but you can expect high-fidelity pics in any lighting conditions thanks to 50MP cameras on the back and front. All of this is supported by a 6500mAh battery, plus up to 80W fast charging to get you from 1% to 100% in under an hour. The performance doesn't come at the cost of heft, either: the Reno15 Pro Max weighs just over 200g.

The OPPO Reno15 Pro Max isn't available on a plan just yet. However, you can purchase it outright and pair it with a plan from our database.

Best OPPO phone in Singapore under $750: OPPO Reno15 5G

  • Display: 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED (120Hz)
  • Chip: 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4
  • Memory: 12GB
  • Storage: 512GB
  • Cameras: 2x 50MP, 1x 8MP rear, 50MP front
  • Battery: 6500mAh, 80W fast charge
  • Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4
  • Operating system: ColorOS 16.0

For something between flagship and mid-range, consider the OPPO Reno15 5G. It doesn't have as much memory as the pricier Pro Max version, but it otherwise has similar core specs. You get the same 512GB of storage, identical memory and matching battery capacity. With a smaller screen – which is still bright and high-res with an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz – the Reno15 is even thinner and lighter.

As you'd expect, you also get a lot of the same features as the Pro Max model, so the Reno15 has AI assistance for photography, video, and cooling. Practically speaking, expect the Reno15 to keep up with all mobile applications, including responsive multitasking and high-frame-rate gaming. For photography, the cameras are only a step behind, with three 50MP lenses (two rear, one front) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Even though telcos aren't currently offering phone plans with the Reno15, you can still buy it outright and pair it with one of these plans from our database.

Best OPPO phone in Singapore around $500: OPPO Reno15 F 5G

  • Display: 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED (120Hz)
  • Chip: 8-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 1
  • Memory: 12GB

  • Battery: 7000mAh, 80W fast charge
  • Connectivity: 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1
  • Operating system: ColorOS 16

OPPO has a few solid phone choices for around $500. One of those choices is the Reno15 F. In terms of the basics, the Reno15 F is a thin, lightweight phone with a lot to offer in terms of storage (512GB) and 12GB of memory for responsive multitasking.

Despite being from a budget line, this OPPO phone has a bright FHD+ OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. If you like taking pics, there's a 50MP main camera as part of the rear three-stack, and a 50MP selfie cam. For videos, the Reno15 F can record up to 4K.

The Reno15 F even has some AI features to help take better pics or seamlessly switch between networks. At 7000mAh, the battery and processor are built for extra longevity, with up to two and a half days of use, and up to 10 hours on graphics-intensive mobile games. If you run out of battery, you can get back to 100% in just over an hour.

Best budget OPPO phone in Singapore: OPPO A5 Pro 5G

  • Display: 6.67-inch HD+ LCD (120Hz)
  • Chip: 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300
  • Memory: 6GB
  • Storage: 128GB
  • Cameras: 1x 50MP, 1x 2MP rear; 8MP front
  • Battery: 5800mAh, 45W fast charge
  • Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3
  • Operating system: ColorOS 15.0

If you want to go even cheaper, consider the OPPO A range. While it is the budget tier, there are still Pro options, like the OPPO A5 Pro, which you can buy for under $300. Understandably, the A5 Pro doesn't have all of the features of the mid-tier or flagship OPPO phones. But it still has AI-assisted network optimisation, plus automated AI features for improved game performance and cooling.

The A5 Pro is focused on practicalities, like durability. It's got IP69 water and dust resistance, plus military-grade shock resistance to protect the case alongside a shatter-resistant display. The A5 Pro has a 6.67-inch HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and good max brightness. If you're using the A5 Pro outdoors, consider using the outdoor mode to boost sound, which also enables hands-free calling and keep the display on for guidance.

While the cameras can't compete with the pricier OPPO models, there's still a 50MP main camera on the back and an 8MP selfie cam. The A5 Pro also comes with a large-capacity battery, which can handle up to 16 hours of video streaming. OPPO claims the battery health should stay like new for more than four years, too.

Unfortunately, no telcos currently offer the OPPO A5 Pro, so we recommend purchasing it outright and pairing it with one of these cheap SIM-only plans from our database.
