After weeks of speculation around the new flagships, Xiaomi has officially given the 17T lineup a launch date. Here’s everything we know so far, including the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro's new features, price, and when Singaporeans can expect to get their hands on the new models.
Xiaomi 17T series new features
We now have some baseline specs for the Xiaomi 17T and 17T, according to several recent leaks. The standard Xiaomi 17T is set to feature a 6.59-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and will likely be powered by a 6,500mAh battery and the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset (comparable to the Redmi Turbo 5, which was released earlier this year).
The Xiaomi 17T Pro is expected to feature a larger 6.83-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It’s also likely to contain the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and a 7,000mAh battery.
Camera-related specs are likely to remain similar across the lineup, with both devices rumoured to contain a 12MP ultrawide, a 50MP main camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens.
Xiaomi is likely to continue its Leica partnership, with the 17T potentially sporting a Leica Summilux main camera with a 5x optical zoom telephoto lens, capable of up to 120x digital zoom. The 17T Pro, on the other hand, is tipped to feature a Light Fusion 950 primary sensor.
The base model is expected to sport 67W wired charging, with the 17T Pro likely being capable of 50W wireless charging and 100W HyperCharge.
Xiaomi 17T Series Singapore pricing and availability
The Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro will officially launch on the 28th of May. Xiaomi are likely to share more information (like pricing and availability) as the release date looms closer. Unfortunately, Singaporeans will have to wait until the launch event for information on pre-orders, pricing and availability.
Upon launching, the Xiaomi 17T series will be available for purchase on Xiaomi’s official website, as well as their official shopfronts on Shopee and Lazada.
