The lite variant of the Vivo X300 series (which launched less than a month ago) is here. If you liked the X300 but are after a more budget-friendly alternative, the X300 FE may be the phone for you.
Here's everything you need to know about the Vivo X300 FE, including Singapore pricing, availability, and all the new features at your fingertips.
What does the Vivo X300 FE look like?
The Vivo X300 FE is the black sheep of the X300 family. Unlike the large, round camera on the X300 series, the FE's camera island is condensed. In fact, it bears a closer resemblance to the Google Pixel series than the X300. The back features a glass panel with a matte finish, thin bezels, and an aluminium alloy frame. It comes in at 7.99mm thick and feels like a bolder, fresher take when compared to the Vivo X300.
The Vivo X300 FE sports a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. You can pick up the X300 FE in three colours – Black Noir, Lilac Purple, and Urban Olive.
What new features does the Vivo X300 FE have?
The X300 series, thanks to its collaboration with ZEISS, has been heavily focused on photography. The X300 FE follows in its footsteps and features a triple-camera array with a 50MP ZEISS main camera, 8MP ultrawide, and 50MP ZEISS telephoto.
You can also grab a 200mm telephoto extender kit, compatible with the X300 FE’s telephoto lens, so you can lock down those far-away shots. The X300 FE has a standard focus length of 100mm, which renders it capable of 4-5x zoom. The telephoto extender pushes it to a massive 1600mm, which is around 70x zoom.
The Vivo X300 features a Flash Portrait mode, which corrects your photos taken in low-light environments, and a Stage Mode for concert-goers. This mode adds enhanced stability and clarity, so you can snap some great pics under the most complex of conditions.
If you’re one for concert memories, you can also take advantage of the Dual-View Stage Video to capture footage on the back camera, and your reaction on the front camera.
The X300 FE is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and sports a 6,500mAh battery. It’s also capable of 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
