VIVIFI in Singapore is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that uses the Singtel mobile network. The telco has been around since 2019 and offers eSIM for all its SIM-only plans. VIVIFI offers a range of no-contract plans with a variety of different inclusions. Here’s a list of popular VIVIFI plans that we track in our database.
VIVIFI mobile plans
All VIVIFI plans operate on a monthly payment cycle. They also have free incoming calls from Singaporean numbers, free incoming SMS (global), free caller ID and no extra charge for a physical SIM card.
VIVIFI 4G plans
In terms of 4G plans, VIVIFI offers five options.
The cheapest 4G VIVIFI plan we track in our database is the Roam Value SIM Only 4G, which costs $7.70 per month for 200GB of data, 300 outgoing local call minutes and 100 outgoing local SMS. In terms of roaming, you also get 100GB of Malaysia data (365-day expiry) and 3GB per month for six Asian destinations. Non-Singtel port-ins also get three months of free 5G access. Compared to competing plans with similar inclusions in our database, this VIVIFI plan is among the cheapest.
Close behind is the VIVIFI Lite SIM Only 4G, which costs $9 per month for 3GB of local data, 100GB of Malaysia data (valid for 90 days), 500 outgoing local call minutes and 20 outgoing local SMS. Although this plan is good for low-data users, there are better value plans in our database.
The next cheapest plan is the VIVIFI Vibe SIM Only 4G. It costs $10 per month for 300GB of local data, and 600GB of Malaysia and Indonesia data (valid for 12 months). It also includes 5 GB of Asia roaming data for 13 destinations, 588 outgoing local call minutes and 100 outgoing local SMS. New non-Singtel port-ins are also eligible to receive six months free, while new numbers are eligible for three months free.
The next 4G plan on offer is the VIVIFI Plus 20 4G plan. It costs $11.50 per month, and comes with 50GB of local data. For the first 12 months, you'll get access to unlimited data if you fly through your allocated 50GB. After that, your included local data drops to 20GB per month thereafter. You'll also get 600GB of Malaysia data (valid for 12 months), 400 local outgoing minutes and 200 SMSes. While it doesn't include as much local data as other plans at its price point, it does offer a competitive amount of SMSes and local minutes.
The most expensive plan of the five is the Roam MY Super 4G plan, which costs $15 per month for 300GB of local data (for the first 12 months, then 100GB for every month thereafter). In terms of roaming data, you'll get a one-time 600GB of Malaysia data (365-year expiry), plus an additional 10GB for the first 12 months, then 8GB every month thereafter. You'll also get 1GB of Thailand and Indonesia data per month, and 5GB of Asia roaming data per month for use in Japan, China, Australia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, the Philippines and South Korea. You'll also get 300 outgoing local call minutes and 100 outgoing local SMSes, plus non-Singtel port-ins get 5G connectivity for 12 months as an extra perk.
VIVIFI 5G plans
If you're after 5G connectivity, VIVIFI has four plans on offer.
Currently, the cheapest is the Roam Asia Super 5G plan, which comes with 400GB of local data, 600GB of roaming data to Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand (365-day expiry), plus 15GB roaming data per month to 13 destinations, 800 outgoing minutes, and 100 local SMS. New non-Singtel port-ins will also receive six months free from month 7 to 12, while new VIVIFI numbers will get three months free from month four to six. Although there are cheaper plans from competitors, those free months are hard to beat.
The next cheapest is the Roam Value 5G plan, which includes 210GB of local data, 100GB of Malaysia data (valid for 12 months), 300 local minutes and 100 SMSes for $15.20 per month. This VIVIFI plan also has 3GB of roaming data per month for use in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and India. Comparatively, there are cheaper picks in our database from almost every telco for similarly geared plans.
VIVIFI also has the Vibe SIM Only 5G plan for $15.20 per month, which includes 310GB of local data, 600 Malaysia and Indonesia data for 12 months, 588 outgoing local minutes and 100 outgoing local SMS. You also get 5GB of roaming data for use in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, India, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan. This VIVIFI plan is, again, one of the pricier picks next to similarly geared competitors in our database.
For $19 per month you can get the VIVIFI Plus 20 SIM Only 5G plan, which has 60GB of local 5G data, and access to unlimited data if you use up your allowance. This is only for the first 12 months. After that, you'll get 30GB of local data. You'll also get 600GB of Malaysia data (one-year expiry), 400 outgoing local call minutes and 200 outgoing local SMS.
The last VIVIFI plan we track in our database is the Roam MY Super SIM Only 5G, which costs $22.50 per month and comes with 310GB of local data (110GB after 12 months), 300 outgoing local call minutes and 100 outgoing local SMS. It also has some great roaming data perks, starting with 10GB per month for Malaysia (8GB after 12 months) and 1GB per month for Indonesia and Thailand (for the first year), plus a one-off 600GB Malaysia data allowance (365-day expiry). There’s also 5GB per month of roaming data for use in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.
