MyRepublic has been around for more than a decade, offering fibre broadband and SIM-only mobile plans to Singaporeans. In terms of mobile plans, MyRepublic has a range of cheap to pricier picks, offered on either the M1 4G or M1 5G mobile network.
If you want to save money, opt for one of MyRepublic’s 4G plans, which offer competitive monthly pricing with generous data allocations. Alternatively, spend more on a MyRepublic 5G plan to boost the gigabytes, call minutes and SMS allowances. Most MyRepublic plans also include data roaming for Malaysia and Indonesia.
Here’s a list of popular MyRepublic SIM-only plans from our database.
MyRepublic SIM-only mobile plans
MyRepublic has a few 4G SIM-only plans, most of which are cheap, but the priciest one comes with unlimited data. The cheapest plan pricing is available for customers not porting in from M1; they have access to the same plans, they’ll just cost more each month. All MyRepublic plans have unlimited data, with slower speeds if you use up all of your max-speed monthly data allowance. They also include free caller ID as well as incoming voice calls and SMS. If you want to avoid a physical SIM card, MyRepublic plans support eSIM devices.
It costs $8.71 per month for MyRepublic’s cheapest SIM-only plan, which comes with 88GB of max-speed data, 200 local call minutes and 100 local SMS. Next to comparable SIM-only plans in our database, this MyRepublic plan is one of the cheapest, though there are cheaper alternatives with more data from Zero1, ZYM Mobile and eight. Compare popular SIM-only plans from our database with at least 80GB of data.
The MyRepublic Starter Plan is the next cheapest option, which costs $9.90 per month for 288GB of local data, 200 local call minutes and 100 SMS. This MyRepublic SIM-only plan also has 3GB of monthly data roaming for use in Malaysia and Indonesia. Compared to similar plans in our database, Maxx offers a competing plan with slightly more data and identical pricing (though it has a 30-day expiry). Here’s a look at comparable popular SIM-only plans from our comparison engine with at least 288GB of data.
MyRepublic’s next SIM-only plan is the Classic Plan. It costs $14.90 per month for 500GB of max-speed data, plus 400 local call minutes and 400 SMS. The roaming data goes up to 5GB for use in Malaysia and Indonesia. Compared to similar plans in our database, MyRepublic is the cheapest option for at least 500GB of data, though there are slightly pricier alternatives from eight and SIMBA.
MyRepublic’s other 4G option is the Unlimited Data Plan, which offers 10GB of max-speed data per day, 2,000 local call minutes and 2,000 SMS. This last MyRepublic 4G plan comes with 1GB of data roaming for use in Malaysia and Indonesia. Because the MyRepublic 500GB plan technically has more max-speed data per day on average, we’d recommend considering that over the Unlimited Data Plan. In terms of other unlimited-data plans from our database, Singtel has cheaper prepaid options (with 5G) or there are pricier SIM-only alternatives from CMLink and Singtel.
