SIMBA is the not-so-new name for a mobile and internet provider that used to be called TPG. In terms of mobile in Singapore, SIMBA is one of four networks, alongside Singtel, StarHub, and M1. While it’s not yet 10 years old, SIMBA has followed in the footsteps of its Australian TPG roots: namely, competitive prices for internet and mobile plans.
If you want a SIMBA plan, there are prepaid and postpaid SIM-only options available for mobile users. While SIMBA doesn’t typically offer any phones to pair with its mobile plans, SIMBA does support eSIM devices, and all of its plans include free International Direct Dial (IDD) call minutes.

SIMBA SIM-only plans
No matter which SIMBA plan you go with, expect hundreds of gigabytes of data. All SIMBA SIM-only plans have no contracts, 30-day expiries, 5G access, eSIM support, unlimited local call minutes to mobiles, and unlimited SMS to other SIMBA mobile users. They also have IDD minutes to 20+ selected dialling destinations, plus SIMBA roaming data covers up to 60+ destinations. That base plan data is useable in Singapore or Malaysia, and all plans from 300GB upwards also let customers use plan data in Indonesia.
The cheapest SIMBA SIM-only plan is the SuperRoam 10 SIM Only, which costs $10 per 30 days and comes with 280GB of data, plus 500 local call fixed-line minutes and 30 SMS. It also has IDD call minutes and 3GB of data roaming to 68 destinations. Compared to the SIM-only plans in our database, this SIMBA plan is among the cheapest with at least 280GB of data, beaten marginally by cheaper M1 4G-network plans from Maxx and MyRepublic. For comparison, here’s a list of popular SIM-only plans from our comparison engine with at least 280GB of data.
SIMBA’s next cheapest plan is the SuperRoam 18 SIM Only. It costs $12 for 30 days and includes 300GB of data, 600 local fixed-line call minutes and 100 SMS, which is the same number of SMS for all other pricier SIMBA SIM-only plans. You also get IDD call minutes and 3GB of data roaming to the same 68 destinations. Compared to other plans from our database with at least 300GB of data, this SIMBA plan has slightly less data than a similar Zero1 plan (but the SIMBA plan is cheaper and doesn’t have an upfront fee). Check our popular SIM-only plans from our database with at least 300GB of data.
The next SIMBA SIM-only plan is the SuperRoam 39 SIM Only, and it leaps up to 400GB of data for $39 per 90 days with 700 local fixed-line call minutes. This SIMBA plan has IDD minutes and 10GB of data roaming to 68 selected destinations. At first glance, there are cheaper plans from our database with at least 400GB, but they’re either monthly or 30-day offerings, which can’t compete with the 90-day value from this SIMBA plan. For comparison, here’s a look at SIM-only plans from our comparison engine with at least 400GB of data.
SIMBA’s next plan has 500GB of data per 30 days. The SuperRoam 18 SIM Only costs $18 and includes 800 local fixed-line call minutes. You also get 400 IDD minutes to 21 selected destinations: Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, South Korea, Thailand and the United States of America. There are also 100 IDD minutes to Myanmar, plus 10GB of roaming data for 68 selected destinations. This SIMBA plan is among the cheapest in our database, equal in pricing with eight (albeit with less data) but MyRepublic offers a cheaper SIM-only plan with 500GB of data. Compare popular SIM-only plans from our database with at least 500GB of data.
SIBMA’s second-priciest SIM-only plan is the SuperRoam 20 SIM Only. It costs $20 per 30 days and comes with 600GB of data, plus 800 local fixed-line call minutes. You also get international allowances: 400 IDD call minutes to 21 selected destinations, 100 minutes to Myanmar, plus 12GB of roaming to 68 destinations. In terms of comparable plans in our database, this SIMBA plan is the cheapest, with Circles.Life the next cheapest albeit with more expensive typical pricing. The plans below are popular SIM-only picks from our comparison engine with at least 600GB of data.
SIMBA’s most expensive plan is the SuperRoam 25 SIM Only. It costs $25 per 30 days for 700GB of data to use in Singapore or Malaysia. It also includes 800 local fixed-line call minutes and 15GB of roaming data use in 68 countries (or on selected flights). If you want to call overseas, this SIMBA plan has 400 IDD call minutes to 21 selected destinations, plus 100 call minutes to Myanmar. This particular SIMBA plan is effectively competing with 1000GB or unlimited-data plans in our database, but it’s slightly cheaper than competing plans from MyRepublic and GOMO. SIMBA mobile phones and devices
Unlike Singtel, M1 and StarHub, SIMBA isn’t known for selling mobile phones with its SIM-only or prepaid plans. That said, there may be occasional and limited phone bundles available for purchase at participating SIMBA retail stores.
SIMBA prepaid plans
SIMBA prepaid plans all offer 5G access, support eSIM, and have unlimited calls to local mobile, plus free SMS to other SIMBA mobile users. They also have 100 IDD call minutes to Myanmar and roaming data for use in 68 selected destinations. Prepaid data can be used in either Singapore or Malaysia for all plans, and also in Indonesia for any SIMBA prepaid plan from 300GB upwards.
The cheapest SIMBA prepaid plan costs $10 per 30 days for 280GB of data, 500 fixed-line local call minutes and 30 local SMS. It also comes with IDD call minutes and 3GB of roaming data. There are cheaper prepaid plans from Singtel, StarHub, Eight and M1, but none of them have as much data (or 5G access).
It’s a similar story comparing SIMBA’s next prepaid plan with its peers, which are cheaper but offer noticeably less data. This SIMBA prepaid plan costs $12 per 30-day recharge for 300GB of data, 600 local fixed-line call minutes and 100 SMS. You also get IDD call minutes and 7GB of roaming data.
SIMBA’s next prepaid plan costs $18 per 30 days for 500GB of base data, 800 local fixed-line calls and 100 local SMS. It also includes 400 IDD call minutes to 21 selected destinations, plus 10GB of roaming data. Compared to its prepaid peers, this SIMBA plan is behind a comparable eight plan for data, but that eight plan only has 4G access.
Similar to its SIM-only plan progression, SIMBA’s next prepaid plan comes with 600GB of data. It costs $20 per 30-day recharge and has 800 local fixed-line calls and 100 local SMS. This SIMBA prepaid plan also includes 12GB of roaming data plus 400 IDD call minutes. That same eight plan is the closest competitor, though it doesn’t quite have 600GB of data.
Meanwhile, SIMBA’s priciest 30-day prepaid recharge is peerless in terms of data at its $25 price point. It comes with 700GB of data, 800 local fixed-line call minutes and 100 local SMS. You also get 400 IDD call minutes and 15GB of roaming data.
SIMBA’s last prepaid plan is something of an anomaly, offering a 90-day expiry for $39. Core features are 400GB of data, 700 local fixed-line call minutes and 100 local SMS. It also comes with IDD call minutes and 8GB of roaming data. The closest competitor comes from M1, but while that M1 prepaid plan has more call minutes and SMS, it has less data and a shorter expiry.

SIMBA data roaming
All SIMBA mobile plans include data roaming for Malaysia, taken from the at-home Singaporean data pool. Additionally, most SIMBA plans offer the same feature for users travelling to Indonesia (except for the cheapest postpaid and prepaid plans). They also include different data allocations: the more you pay, the more roaming data you get to the 68 Group A destinations. Outside of plan inclusions for Group A destinations, it costs $4 per gigabyte. Charging is calculated per 10MB of data used.
